Art Van Wolde has been with Calvary Church for three years as the Minister of Worship.  Pastor Art moved to Pella from Minnesota where he served a rural congregation for five and half years.  Pastor Art was born and raised in the Chicago-land area, making him a Bears fan! In 1989 he received a Bachelors of Religious Education from Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Pastor Art attended Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids earning two masters degrees, a Master of Arts in Missions in 1993, and a Master of Divinity in 1998.  Pastor Art is married and has three daughters and a son.  He leads a busy life but when he has some free time you will find him up town enjoying a cup of coffee and when the weather is nice, he will be having fun with his hobby, boating on lakes Red Rock and Rathbun.

Pastor Sheldon Starkenburg received his theological education at Calvin Theological Seminary.  For nine years he was a youth pastor in Detroit, Michigan, and he served the Prairie City, Iowa CRC from 1992-1998.  He joined the staff at Calvary in 1999.  He has two daughters, Regina and Ramona, and he enjoys traveling, fishing, and gardening.

Pastor Todd majored in Education at Dordt College and has taught in Los Angeles, Pella and Denver, Colorado over an eleven year timeframe. He has now served at Calvary Church as the Pastor of Youth Ministries for over four years. Along with his duties in youth ministry, he also helps lead a Bible study for young adults and occasionally presents the message at Calvary Church. Todd is currently working on his Masters Degree from Birmingham Theological Seminary?s online program and is enjoying it very much. Pastor Todd is married and has a son, a daughter, and a dog named Dodger. Even though family, ministry and studying take up most of his time, he is also passionate about sports and riding his motorcycle.
